The camera in Continuity is one of those features that shows Apple's genius with regard to its product ecosystem. Do you have an iPhone and a Mac? So simply use the phone's camera on the computer during video calls (which was done using the relevant applications even before the function was introduced). In addition, with this, the other party will not only get a better image, but it will give you many other options with which you can take your communication to the next level. These are, for example, video effects, centering the shot, or an interesting view of the table showing not only your face, but also the worktop. In addition, there are microphone modes, which include, for example, voice isolation or a wide spectrum that also captures music and ambient sounds.

In the case of using the function with MacBooks, the company also introduced a special holder from Belkin, in which you can place the iPhone on the lid of the device. But in the case of desktop computers, you can use any holder, because the function is not tied to it in any way. With iPads, it may not make sense, because you can handle the call directly on their large displays, on the other hand, using another device for the call that captures the desktop, for example, might not be out of the question here either. But the more interesting one is Apple TV. Televisions are not normally equipped with a camera, and the possibility of making a video call through it, and that nicely on the big screen, could come in handy for many.

The company will present new forms of its operating systems here, where this extension of tvOS would certainly be beneficial.
