RYOT Films founders David Darg and Bryn Mooser used the new iPhone 6S Plus camera to shoot a short documentary in 4K. A movie called The Painter of Blinds takes place in Haiti and follows the life of a man who uses brushes and paints to brighten up the community of people around him. This film became the first 4K documentary shot using the iPhone 6S Plus.

Apple to announce financial results for Q4 2015 on October 27 (September 28)

Apple Music, iTunes Movies and iBooks launch in China (29/9)
Three services that are already commonplace in most countries are arriving in China with a delay. Developers at Pixar try out the new iPad Pro and Pencil (September 29)
Pixar employees got a unique chance to try out what it's like to work with the new iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil stylus. Michael B. Johnson, head of development for the animation device, then took to Twitter to praise the device and also refuted the controversy over whether the iPad Pro can ignore hand touches when using the Pencil. According to his tweet, the palm detection seems to be at a good level and writing with the Pencil is comfortable. At Pixar, they could use the new iPads mainly in the creation of the first sketches of films, the work would be significantly faster thanks to them.

Tim Cook receives Visibility Award for LGBT efforts (1/10)
