Foxconn could buy its LCD factory from Sharp with the help of Apple (September 23)

According to the Nikkei magazine, Foxconn plans to buy the Japanese manufacturer Sharp, which specializes in LCDs. Together with the Chinese company, Apple should also participate in the purchase, which already practically owns a similar Sharp factory. The Californian company invested nearly a billion dollars in an LCD factory in Kameyama, Japan, which now serves as one of the main sources of displays for the iPhone.
