Burberry has its own channel on Apple Music, Angela Ahrendts is one of the most powerful women, two new Apple Stories have opened and the Watch will arrive in other countries.

Burberry launched its own channel on Apple Music (September 14)

Fashion brand Burberry is coming to Apple Music with its own channel. During his tenure, the fashion house's chief executive, Christopher Bailey, has most clearly linked the brand to two non-fashion industries, technology and music.

Now it comes with a novelty, its own channel in Apple Music, which will mainly offer young artists who are in some way connected to the fashion house. Emerging British Talent playlists have already appeared on the channel, which includes artists such as Palace, Furs or Christopher Baileys Music Monday, From The Burberry Runway and others.

Burberry is also promising videos, including appearances by Alison Moyet, who will perform at Fashion Week in London, for example. There is also speculation that Apple will tie up with this house and supply some special straps for the Apple Watch, for example. The recent Apple Event and Hermes showed that such an alliance is possible. In addition, Apple and Burberry are joined by Angela Ahrendts, the former head of the British fashion house and current senior vice president of business at Apple.

The film on the display does not prevent the operation of 3D Touch (September 16)

Apple's new flagships - the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus - bring a novelty in the form of a 3D Touch display that supports new gestures based on pressure. Immediately after the introduction of the new devices, users began to speculate whether the new display would have a problem with protective films and glasses. According to many, the films could have an effect on the new 3D Touch function, i.e. on how well the iPhone recognizes the force of pressing.

However, Apple turned away all speculations, as it wants to satisfy not only users, but also manufacturers of protective glasses and foils. In an email to 3D Techtronics, Phil Schiller confirmed that the new iPhones will not have any problems with protective glasses and films, as long as manufacturers comply with all the conditions set by Apple. They state, among other things, that the foil, for example, must not be conductive, must not form air bubbles or that it must not be more than 0,3 millimeters thick.

A remodeled Apple Store opened in Cupertino, a new one opened in Belgium (September 19)

Apple this week opened a completely redesigned Apple Store right next to its headquarters at the Infinite Loop in Cupertino, California. It has been closed since the beginning of June. It is the only Apple store where you can buy original Apple T-shirts, mugs, bottles and other collectibles.

Newly, in addition to advertising and souvenir items, you can also buy Apple products in this Apple Store, i.e. iPhone, iPad, Macbook, as well as Beats headphones and other accessories in the form of cables and covers, which was not possible until now. The only thing missing from the Apple Store is a Genius Bar and third-party accessories.

Apple also focused on a new internal layout, where each product has its original place and way of placement. There are also gift items in the same color designs as Apple devices.

The Californian company also used the new concept of the interior layout of the Apple Store in the new store in Brussels, Belgium. It was also opened during the past week. Jony Ive himself contributed a lot to the new generation look. In the store you can find, for example, much more wood, a completely glass building or a completely new way of hanging Beats headphones.

Additionally, the store features live trees and benches for people to sit on before being served by vendors. Apparently, Apple wants to roll out a similar style to all brick-and-mortar stores around the world, although it's not yet certain which store will be next.

Austria, Denmark and Ireland are the next countries to sell the Apple Watch (September 19)

Apple updated its website last week to say that the Apple Watch will now be available in Austria, Denmark and Ireland. In all mentioned countries, the watch will go on sale from September 25, i.e. the same day when the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will be available.

It is also interesting that there are no original Apple Stories in Austria and Denmark, which confirms the fact that Apple does not want to sell smartwatches only in official stores. It is not yet known when the Apple Watch will be available in the Czech Republic.
