IKEA presented an excellent Apple video parody, the iWatch is said to come with an OLED display and NFC, the iPad Air could arrive in gold, and technology journalist Anand Shimpi moved to Apple.
Apple Hires Longtime Tech Journalist Anand Shimpi (31/8)
After journalist Anand Shimpi left the online magazine AnandTech, an Apple representative confirmed that the technology journalist was hired by the California company. However, no one has been told what position Shimpi will hold at Apple. Shimpi founded AnandTech in 1997 and focused on in-depth analysis and reviews of various topics from the world of technology, including all Apple devices.

IKEA parodied Apple's video (September 3)
Swedish furniture company IKEA has come up with a fun ad for its 2015 catalog. The video is an obvious parody of the marketing video Apple used to introduce its first iPad in 2010. You can watch the video below.

iWatch reportedly in two sizes, with NFC and OLED (4/9)
The Wall Street Journal came this week with interesting news regarding Apple's smart watch. Despite earlier criticism of Apple, the iWatch should have a curved OLED display, thanks to the function of lighting up only those pixels that are needed at the moment, the battery of the watch would last significantly longer. According to the WSJ, Apple should also include NFC, a short-range wireless communication system, in the iWatch. This could be used not only for payment, but also for connection with the iPhone, assuming that we will really see NFC in the new iPhone. The Wall Street Journal also concluded that the watch should be available in two sizes, likely ranging from 1,3 inches to 2,5 inches.

According to the NYT, the iPhone 6 should have a one-handed mode (September 4)
Apple seems to have found an answer to its own criticism of phones with large displays. The Californian company has long been reluctant to increase the size of its phone's display, mainly due to the impossibility of one-handed operation. However, according to The New York Times, the iPhone 6 should come with a mode that would allow users to control the phone with only one hand even on a large display. However, the report of the New York daily does not specify in detail what exactly such a mode would look like, but it reckons with the theory that Apple will release two phones: one with a screen size of 4,7 inches and a more expensive 5,5-inch one.

iPad Air 2 in gold and with an anti-reflective display already on Tuesday? (4/9)
According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in addition to the new iPhone and the first iWatches, the iPad Air 2 will also be introduced at Tuesday's keynote. According to Kuo, Apple mainly wants to update the iPad Air, which makes more money than the iPad mini. So while the iPad mini will probably only get Touch ID, the iPad Air can look forward to several new features. Apple should add the already speculated anti-reflective layer, display lamination, A8 processor, Touch ID fingerprint sensor and an 8-megapixel camera. In addition, this model should also be presented in gold color. Kuo also mentioned a later release of the iPad Air 2. Thanks to the anti-reflective layer and lamination, it could be available as late as October. The DigiTimes server also reported that the new iPad Air should be thinner, partly thanks to the lamination of the display.

A week in a nutshell
Shortly before the expected keynote on Tuesday, Apple came under the spotlight of all the world's media. Apple has been accused of insufficient protection of iCloud accounts, due to which the Internet sensitive photos of celebrities leaked. Apple of course he refused, that iCloud itself would be hacked and claimed that the hacker was targeting celebrity accounts directly. Later it turned out that he hacked into the accounts of celebrities hacked using a forensics system by cracking passwords. The whole situation then finally became official expressed even Tim Cook himself promised improvement.
He also escaped to the world last week iPhone 6 case, which revealed its size and rounded shape. Apple will officially unveil the new iPhone on Tuesday to transmit live on your website.
Obalso appearedinformation that Apple made contracts with the biggest players in the field of payment cards, which would confirm Apple's intention to launch its payment system with the new iPhone.
And while in Europe opened the Deadmau5 iTunes Festival, in Cupertino accepted by London designer Marc Newson.
I would like to ask the author (that is, all authors) to write months in Slovak as well :) although it is a Czech portal, it is certainly visited by many Slovaks. I don't know Czech months, while the authors know English and we have months derived from English, so it's definitely not a problem. Thanks and sorry for Off Topic :)
Are you kidding me? A Slovak is a monkey thrown from Hungary across the Danube.
Go to the pages: http://www.jablčkár.sk
That was a very spirited reaction from you, from which one essential thing can be deduced - that you are the only monkey here. I am asking Jablíčkár to consistently delete idiots in discussions.
EXACTLY LIKE THAT - DELETE EVERYTHING SO NO ONE CAN HAVE THEIR OPINION!!
Everyone knows that Slovaks are hypocrites
And Czech readers who don't know English should look up the names of the months in the dictionary? ;-)
And wouldn't you like it in Hungarian, Japanese and Korean too? I have nothing against Slovaks at all, but this is a seriously excessive demand. Jablickar.cz is a Czech server, so take it as it is. I believe that you are not the only Slovak who has to deal with months written in Czech. ;-)
So learn these months, it's only twelve words. If you understand the other words in the article, why shouldn't you understand the names of the months.
January (January), February (February), March (March), April (April), May (May), June (June), July (July), August (August), September (September), October (October), November (November), December (December).
Mato41415, sometimes I'm really ashamed of being Slovak when I read such an infantile post, when you can't learn anything, try using such a good thing, I have it at work, it's called google...
So read other portals, letemsvetem, etc. Slovaks also write it there. But you will definitely improve over time with self-study. :P
it's probably very challenging to write about something a few days before the keynotes :)
I don't understand how you figured out that Ikea meant it as a parody of Apple? How did a large part of Czech journalists come up with this? Somewhere they even wrote that Apple gave its approval and Ikea just thought it in the spirit of Apple ads, as a smart and funny idea. But not with the aim of parodying something...
So you understood it completely the other way around, it's 100% advertising deliberately created in the style of apple, it's absolutely clear, just look at any advertisement from apple and you'll see. see video http://youtu.be/utUPth77L_o
God, I'm so looking forward to Tuesday! :) BTW: Ikea really messed it up, after a long time advertising like a fig :)
I think it was a request addressed to the author and not to other readers. To take it somewhat generally (all those answers)…. so opinions like Slovaks are idiots and subhumans etc. are seriously childish. And to the others, yes, I understand the text because they are all similar words, but I think that January and January are not similar, but January and "January" in English are something else. Writing in an article "it will be in January" takes a few seconds longer, while learning months takes longer. Personally, it is more comfortable for me to read the month in Slovak in the article than to turn on Google and translate it. I repeat once again - this is a request addressed to the author, NOT YOU :)
Here in the reactions, Töchtle Möchtle wrote it all out for you. Sit on it one evening and I believe you will memorize it all. Do not give up. ;-)
PS: I would like to ask all Czech drivers if they could tolerate driving on the roundabout and vice versa. My uncle from England is used to it like this, so that he doesn't have to relearn it here and he can drive here as he is used to nothing there. Thank you very much for your understanding. :-)
