We could expect new computers from Apple in October (29 August)

The new MacBook Pro and Air would, according to the magazine Bloomberg they could hit stores as early as October. Bloomberg has confirmed that Apple is preparing a fingerprint sensor and an interactive function panel for the MacBook Pro. It should change depending on whether the user is on the desktop or working with a specific application. All that is known about the new MacBook Air is that it will have USB-C outputs. According to Bloomberg Apple is also working with LG to develop a 5K display to replace the recently canceled Thunderbolt display.

iPad proves to be an effective sedative for children before surgery (August 30)

An interesting study was conducted by a group of anesthesiologists from Hong Kong, which compared the effects of medical sedatives and iPads for calming pediatric patients before surgery. Different groups of children from 4 to 10 years of age were given drugs or iPads, and the results surprisingly showed that the iPad calmed the young patients as much as a chemical sedative. The quality of anesthesia using iPads was even rated better than that using drugs. Apple thus managed to break into another part of medicine, which it has been focusing on in recent years.

Tim Cook sold his Apple shares for $29 million (31/8)

Tim Cook sold another block of his Apple shares worth $29 million on Monday. The price per share ranged between $105,95 and $107,37. By selling them, Tim Cook celebrated the five-year anniversary of joining the leadership of Apple, during which he received 1,26 million shares.

Currently, Cook still owns about one million shares worth $110 million. While other personalities in Apple's leading positions sell their shares on an ongoing basis, Tim Cook accumulated his and in 2015 he lived only on his salary, which, however, is equal to 2 million dollars.

The official @Apple account appeared on Twitter (September 1)

After years of refusing to use social media profiles to market its products, Apple has decided to launch its own Twitter account - @Apple. For the time being, three hundred thousand users are already following him since the launch last week (however, Apple had owned this account for several years), even though he has not sent anything to him yet. But his profile is decorated with a banner of the upcoming keynote, so it can be assumed that Apple will start using Twitter on the occasion of the live transcription of the keynote on September 7.

Apple Promotes Charity Song #WHERESTHELOVE by Black Eyed Peas (1/9)
