Apple has patented a way to prevent filming of concerts (30/6)

Apple's latest patent could prevent the filming of concerts on mobile phones that annoys viewers around the world. Apple has registered an infrared light transmitter that can be placed in any space (concert hall, museum), which then communicates with the iPhone's camera and prevents it from starting.

While it is not at all certain whether Apple would go down this controversial path, this technology could also serve, for example, to provide information to visitors to tourist destinations and museums. An iPhone user could simply point their iPhone at the artifact and the related information would appear on the phone's display.
