As part of yesterday's conference with the announcement of Apple's financial results for the June quarter of this year, Tim Cook announced that sales of wearable electronics recorded a positive year-on-year increase. Wearable electronics products include wireless Bluetooth headphones AirPods and smart watches Apple Watch.

Sales of this wearable electronics grew by a total of sixty percent year-on-year in the June quarter. During the announcement of the results, Tim Cook did not share any specific information that would relate to specific models or specific revenues. But the public could learn that the "Other" category, under which Apple's wearable electronics fall, brought in $3,74 billion for Apple. At the same time, Tim Cook said that over the last four quarters, revenues from the sale of wearable electronics reached 10 billion.

The aforementioned Apple Watch and AirPods headphones contributed most significantly to these numbers, but products from the Beats series, such as Powerbeats3 or BeatsX, are also undoubtedly responsible for this result. They - just like AirPods - have a W1 wireless Apple chip for the easiest possible pairing with Apple products and for a reliable connection.
“Our third highlight of the quarter is the strong results in wearables, which includes the Apple Watch, AirPods and Beats, with sales up more than 60% year-over-year,” Tim Cook announced yesterday, adding that everyone at Apple is excited, seeing how many customers are enjoying their AirPods. "It reminds me of the early days of the iPod," Cook said, "when I saw these white headphones everywhere I went," Tim Cook said on the conference call.
Apple can confidently call the June quarter a success. Over the past three months, it managed to achieve revenues of $53,3 billion with a net profit of $11,5 billion. The same quarter last year brought in revenues of $45,4 billion with a profit of $8,72 billion. Although the income from the sale of Macs and iPads decreased, significant success was recorded, for example, in the area of services, where there was an increase of approximately 31%.
