Apple officially entered the educational waters when it introduced iBooks Textbooks in early 2012 - interactive scripts and the application in which they can be created. Since then, iPads have been appearing in schools on an increasingly large scale. Especially in connection with the application iTunes U Course Manager, which is used to create, manage and view teaching courses. Course creation is now also available in the Czech Republic, along with 69 other countries.

iTunes U has existed for a long time - we can find there accounts/courses of many world universities such as Harvard, Stanford, Berkeley or Oxford. So anyone has access to the best learning materials available. iTunes U Course Manager is the application for creating these courses. This particular application is now available in a total of seventy countries. The list includes, in addition to the Czech Republic, e.g. Poland, Sweden, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia, etc.

iBooks Textbooks are a new generation teaching aid that allows much more interactivity than a classic, printed script, as it can contain moving 3D diagrams, photo galleries, videos and sophisticated, interactive animations that allow more effective association creation. There are currently more than 25 titles available, but with many new markets, this number is sure to increase regularly.
