In addition to new versions of its iOS and OS X operating systems, Apple has also released an update for iTunes. Version 12.2.2 only fixes the new music streaming service Apple Music and its associated Beats 1 radio.

Finally, even on Mac, users will be able to view the Beats 1 radio program directly in iTunes, or find out what is currently playing. Just click on the big Beats 1 banner on the radios page. Just like on iOS, it is now possible to view the list of artists you follow on Connect in iTunes. This network can then be fully operated by artists via iTunes, until now this was only possible on iOS.

As part of iTunes 12.2.2, Apple also fixed several bugs, such as when iTunes would not remember where to go back when going back a page, or when artists were incorrectly sorted in the library. Your playlists should no longer be displayed incorrectly in action offers.

iTunes 12.2.2 is available for download in the Mac App Store.
