Today, the Apple Vision Pro, a somewhat revolutionary device in the field of headsets, goes on sale. It's paradoxical how Apple can set trends somewhere and completely ignore them elsewhere. Of course we come across flexible devices. Now here we have though informacethat we should wait after all. But that day will come in two years.

Looking at the jigsaw situation, Samsung is the clear leader here. This year, he will present the 6th generation Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip. By the way, the second mentioned manufacturer often and likes to present it as a clear reason to switch from iPhone to Android. Apple still doesn't offer us any jigsaw puzzles, while Samsung is still improving theirs.

But he is not the only one who makes a lot of effort in this area. Google is already selling its first puzzle, although in a limited market, the Chinese predators are already offering their solutions in their tenth generation, but they only rarely expand beyond the borders of their homeland, which is definitely a shame. As if everyone saw the potential, only Apple didn't realize it.

Not iPhones but iPads

But it's not that complicated. Jigsaws cost their manufacturers a lot of work and money, which they are not returning yet, because they sell only a fraction of what standard smartphones do, and yes, their price is also to blame. Why would Apple make any effort, when its iPhones are a constant bestseller, which also secured the first place on the market in the number of smartphones sold last year?

On the other hand, one might say, why the hell a Vision Pro? This is because with him the company could show what no one else could. She invented a new, original product, not only in design but also in use. But what can it bring to the folding segment? It is now basically only focused on phones, where in theory Apple has nothing to attract. But in theory he could change it elsewhere.

Although we are all waiting for a foldable iPhone, which many of us would also like, Apple is quite possibly working primarily on a foldable iPad. Specifically, it should be a successor to the iPad mini with a seven- to eight-inch display (the iPad mini has an 8,3-inch display). So we would get the options of a small tablet that can be folded into an even smaller device. But does it have a chance of success? Apple must be confident about it, and quite possibly will want to use it to restart the increasingly declining tablet market. But of course, the fact that it won't be a phone will bring the device down. Apple could introduce its new product in 2026, when a 20,5" model should come to the market even later.

Now, when you make a cross-section between smartphones and tablets, it's boring. Few manufacturers bring any invention and something useful, interesting and affordable. It is jigsaw puzzles that can surprise and interest, but it certainly won't happen until Apple enters the market. So let it be.
