When you think of a card game in the Czech Republic, the first thing that comes to mind is Prší. It is common knowledge that you need thirty-two cards and at least one opponent to play. But what if that's not what you're getting? For those of you, we have a tip for a great iPhone game created by the developers at Zentita - iPrší!
The Rain rules must be very well known to everyone, but still, let's refresh them a bit. The object of the game is to play all the cards from your hand so that you don't have any left. Whoever completes it first wins. It is played with a deck of 32 cards of four different suits, and players clockwise either discard the cards or lick them if they have nothing to play.
But I will not continue to teach you here and we will look directly at iPrší itself. The game offers a pleasantly designed environment, great graphics and everything is very close to reality. Immediately after launch, you have the option to turn the sound on or off. In the basic menu, four items await you - Quick game, Tournament, Profile and Rules.
You probably all know what it's all about, but still. Choosing Quick Play will instantly take you to the game table where three opponents will be pitted against you and ready to play. In Tournament mode, it will be the same game, but with elimination. You will be four at the first table, three advance, then two, until a winner is decided. If you win the tournament three times, you will unlock a higher difficulty.
In the Profile menu, you can change both your own and your opponents' names, and in the Rules you will find detailed instructions.
You can find iPrší in the App Store at the moment for a nice price of €0,79, but I have to warn you that this is only an introductory price. The price of the game will jump to double in no time. Therefore, do not hesitate and download iPrší to your devices as soon as possible, because you cannot miss such a Czech classic.
App Store - iPrší (€1,59) Web Application
I took off the breasts that were like the first, and then came the second breast. The breast was sold by the author to a real company that now sells iBrsi.
This article seems a bit like cheap advertising. For the reasons Barberry writes about, there's been quite a bit of buzz surrounding this game, so I'd be cautious about recommending it. For the time being, it certainly does not reach the quality of its predecessor.
Too bad the price is already double. If it had at least MP, I would understand the price.
1; the game is already for 1,59 euros..
2; I often feel that the original Prsi is much better, so I'd rather wait until/if z5 is in the AppStore..
This makes more sense to me on the iPad - if anyone knows about raining on the iPad let me know, it might be great while sitting :-)
Well, we already know you have an IPad and now show your high school diploma!
Downloaded from the US, but English only. There is no other language in the settings. Card graphics
very unsuccessful. Compared to the Prsi version that I also have, this version is weak.
When playing on the iPad, the application cannot rotate 180 degrees according to the gyro sensor.
I gave it 1 out of 5.
@Asha, the language is selected based on phone settings. Try to select the Czech language in the mobile settings and the game will set itself accordingly. iPrsi is currently only for iPhone, an iPad version will be released later.
@Jan/Charles: Both Breasts and iBrss are our games. Breasts are currently not available due to licensing reasons, but the system is still important to us. We are currently planning the return of Prsi in a slightly different form, and Lukas (the original author) is still working on it. I might sound a little stuffy here with the following comment, but I think you're playing too much, given the fact that it costs less than a coffee in a restaurant. It is perhaps not so difficult to understand that the "same" thing can be done in different ways, and the possibility to choose between them is always better for the user. No one is really forcing you to buy.
So, Mr. Abhishek, you put the crown on it;-) From that possessive pronoun, I understood that you represent the company. Zentites. Instead of defending your work (or the work of your colleagues) here, you just blurt out that "it costs less than a coffee in a restaurant". But the coffee must also be good for me to willingly pay for it. Otherwise, I'll dig into it as much as I dig into this game.
Don't be mad at us for covering the game when we suddenly have this post-review that reminded us of the rather unfortunate situation surrounding "your" first game.
You are right that we don't have to buy the game, that no one is forcing us. After all, we also only object to recommending her;-)
And your last sentence: "... the ability to choose..." - that's somehow exactly what we're missing now after your acquisition :-)
@Mr. Matejko, I don't have to defend my work. iPrsi has been in the top 10 applications since its release, it couldn't be better. And we are proud of our development team, that they managed to create an application that reached the first place. We try to listen to our users, which you can see for yourself in the new version, which again got the game to the first place in the AppStore. I think there is no further point in me trying to defend our game here, because I won't convince you. I can only add that we are still working on the game and the original Prsi inaccessibility is only temporary.
Out of curiosity, will both versions of Prší be available under your banner? I just find it an interesting situation to have the same games in the Appstore 2, albeit processed differently.
Breasts come back. And if not for other reasons, then at least from the fact that everything must be in the App Store at least twice :) But seriously, Prsi is a really good game and right now we are negotiating with Apple the transition to a corporate account and a license for two-headed cards. Without it, we are not able to launch the game in the market. With iPrsi, we focused the file on a younger audience, and we want to focus on that in the future as well. From what I can reveal at this moment is the fact that it will be a multiplayer game. By the way, I have 4x pool, 3x golf, 3x poker on my mobile phone, they are all processed differently and yet I always try to evaluate each separately.
We like the breast card game, we already have two variants and we continue to invest in both and try to improve them:) I think the Czech "small" market has a decent selection, which has no analogues here. And we do it because we believe in it.
