Want a Mac too? Students and teachers now have a unique opportunity to not only get a great MacBook, but also get a free iPod touch 8GB! More information already on July 15.
Getting iPod Touch 8GB free to buy a Macbook is quite simple. As a student, you will need to prove yourself with a student card (ISIC or ITIC) and fulfill a few simple rules:
1) Join the "I Want a Mac Too" group on Facebook at www.facebook.com/chcitakemac and invite 10 friends to your team. You will receive a unique code.
2) Buy a MacBook or MacBook Pro 13″ from event partners (e.g. iStyle, Quentin, 24U, Duhový Servis, Kinetic and others). You can find the complete list on the Facebook page.
3) Report your unique code from the app to the given partner and you will get an iPod touch 8GB for free!
You can find more information on the page www.chcitakemac.cz, which should be launched this afternoon. If you're a student thinking about buying a Mac, this is a great deal!
This is a clear signal that Apple is starting to pay attention to smaller countries such as the Czech Republic and thus brings the "Back To School" offer from "western countries" to us as well!
Update #1: The same event is also running in Slovakia under the Facebook page facebook.com/chcemtiezmac.
In addition to the ISIC card, a certificate of study with a school stamp is sufficient... I don't need to arrange a card that I wouldn't use anyway.
Well, that Facebook again...
And in addition to the free iPod Touch 8GB, you can choose a 10% discount on the price of the purchased device (cannot be combined in any way) see http://www.chcitakemac.cz/podminky/ point 4.
I would also like to point out that, of course, it is not possible to subsequently deduct VAT from any sold equipment, because the invoice is issued in the name of the student / teacher and of course it cannot be issued to the company. Furthermore, I would like to point out another very unpleasant fact - the MacBook that will be sold to you will not be sold at the price at which the given partner normally sells it, but at the recommended price, i.e. 32.028. This is no longer completely worthwhile in the case of applying 10% of the price, in the case of the iPod it is considered. However, for me as a company interested, it is no longer interesting at the moment. Deducting VAT from regular prices, for example from the duhovyservis.cz e-shop, is an obvious choice for me.
The price of CZK 32.028 refers specifically to the MacBook Pro 13″ 2,4GHz, which duhovyservis.cz normally offers for CZK 30.576 including VAT.
Hello, I'm going to the USA and I plan to buy a MacBook here as well. I am a student at Charles University. Do you think I am also entitled to the student discount and free iPod or is this only for US students?
