Therefore, if you decide to buy a device second-hand or bazaar, it is advisable that you check whether the display works 100%. Of course, you won't find out if a new or refurbished display is installed in the body of the device, but at least you will find out if touch works across the entire surface of the device. Unfortunately, there is currently no tool in iOS to help us test the functionality of the display, so we will have to use a third-party application.
- You can use it from the App Store this link to download the application Phone Diagnostics
- After downloading and installing it we will open
- A simple application will appear with several options to test the entire device - we are mainly interested Digitizer and Multi touch
- We click on Digitizer and using your finger we swipe across the entire display, to connect all the boxes (we have 1 minute)
- When finished, the application switches back to the menu
- We click on Multi touch and after loading, we click on the display with three fingers - if multi touch works, the places where we touched with our fingers will appear
- When finished, the application switches back to the menu
If the Digitizer and Multi touch systems are functional, a green background will be displayed for each option. If something is not working, the box will turn red
