In our conditions, we are enjoying the new iPhone X some Friday. Today, it has been exactly three weeks since the new Apple flagship went on sale in the Czech Republic. Many happy owners have the new product at home already, others will receive it in the next few days. However, not everywhere is so lucky with availability. Today is the day the new iPhone X goes on sale in thirteen countries around the world.
Starting today, iPhone X can also be officially purchased in Albania, Bosnia, Cambodia, Kosovo, Macau, Macedonia, Malaysia, Montenegro, Serbia, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand and Turkey. So, if you live in one of these countries, you have the opportunity to buy the novelty through the official way.
However, if you live in the Czech Republic, we also have good news for you. The availability of the iPhone X has again improved a bit, and the official apple.cz store offers a novelty with one to two weeks of availability. At the time of writing, all configurations were available from 8 to 12 days after placing the order. So you still have plenty of time to order the new flagship before Christmas. How big Czech e-shops are doing with availability cannot be estimated very well, as they are a bit foggy. Did you manage to get an iPhone X the classic way, or are you facing availability issues?
However, I'm still puzzled as to why, given the improving availability, Apple is shortening the delivery time for new orders first instead of speeding up the shipping of existing orders first.
A person who ordered on pre-order day and wasn't lucky enough to get their phone on 3.11/2. or a week later, he now gets the phone at the same time as someone who ordered the phone 3 weeks ago (with a XNUMX week delivery time) or today (with a XNUMX week delivery time).
Because marketing…. Apple already has customers who have ordered it and is already paying for them. But he wants to attract new people and shorten the delivery time for them to order it, not you.
and is it really such a win, the famous IP X? I'm trying to justify the purchase of this wonder, but somehow it doesn't work for me... I don't have to chase my ego... and I still have to beg Apple to deliver it, no... the Galaxy Note 8 will probably win. The price is much lower, the phone is nice, the equipment is more good, and you can still use them quite often during the cash back year
So, for example, I'm not chasing my ego, I'll use the phone, I'm switching from 6. This is not even a matter of begging Apple to supply me with a phone, that is a problem of higher demand than production is currently possible (this will never happen to Samgun - there are no such sales that it will be an almost unavailable product for the first couple of weeks). How can the Galaxy Note 8 be much cheaper when it makes a difference of 3 thousand? For example, I have nothing against Android in general, that system is good, although I prefer iOS and its connection with macOS, watchOS, etc. On the other hand, I would never buy a Samsung or any other phone from a manufacturer that builds its superstructure on Android. which will slow down Android and make you pay unnecessarily (Therefore, in those phones, of course, there is better HW equipment, so that the phone can handle it, at the expense of the smoothness and performance of the entire system. This is the reason why the iPhone overwhelms most such phones with worse HW on paper, which it has, but it's HW that is tailored to the phone and the OS and thanks to that everything is debugged and smooth. If I wasn't used to iOS, then from the current offer I'd go for either the Pixel 2 or rather the Razer Phone, which are high-end phones , where there is no superstructure and thanks to that, even the system is smooth and, from my point of view, the only phones that are currently the real competitors for the iPhone.
Gone are the days when iOS was tailored to the phone. Sad experience with iP SE and iOS 11. But that ecosystem doesn't just give up on a person when he's already deep in it.
It's more about the fact that iOS11 is tailored to the iPhone 8 and X. iOS 10 is tailored to the 7. And so on and so forth, and every newer iOS must be optimized for older devices. The iPhone SE came out with the release of iOS 9.3. I will be switching to the Xko from the 6ky, which was already released with the old iOS 8, and I can't expect iOS 11 to work perfectly for me (even on the phone itself, you can see that it has served the best).
Hi, well, I had it pre-ordered almost everywhere, like a true apple fan,... The first person called was that I had it ready at the store... It was only at that moment that I realized the price, because I automatically take the phone with insurance (regularly, unfortunately, it is I'll break my skills),... 35 was just over the line,... Somehow I didn't "morally" justify it -> in short, I couldn't find a reason to switch from seven to X,... Display over the entire phone, fear of the absence of a home button, and opening with the face – I simply didn't have the right reasons for the purchase, so I canceled the pre-order and will stick with the seven, the change wouldn't bring me anything new (fundamental)... :(
