When Apple started selling the iPhone X, it reached few people. Someone was lucky enough to secure pieces from the first wave, but most others had to wait a week or so for their piece. However, as it turned out quite quickly, the availability was not as bad as it was originally thought. Thanks to the constant increase in production capacity, Apple shortened the delivery time, and for many owners, the iPhone X arrived even two weeks faster than it was supposed to. The improvement in availability basically lasts until today and if you look at Apple's official website right now, you will find that Apple will deliver the new iPhone X to you in 3-5 days.

It seems the waiting times are indeed over. It is not entirely clear how big Czech e-shops or the official APR are doing with (real) availability, but it is clear on Apple's website. If you order an iPhone X today (regardless of color variant and memory configuration), the courier will deliver it to you by Friday at the latest. After two months, availability reached the level of three to five days.

The original assumptions that the availability will normalize only after the new year have therefore turned out to be wrong. However, it should be noted that they were based on relatively realistic assumptions. However, as shown in recent weeks, production speed has increased at an unexpected pace, and as of two weeks ago, more than half a million iPhone Xs were flowing out of Foxconn's factories per day. Interest in the novelty can be huge, but with these production capacities it is certainly not a problem. So it looks like the iPhone X will be there for Christmas, even if you order it a week before Christmas Day.
