There are countless complaints about the Apple iPhone. Bad battery life, slowing down of the system with an increase in functions or the inability to modify the system. On the other hand, Apple smartphones are the most reliable on the market, at least according to FixYa's study.
The study shows that the iPhone is 3x more reliable than Samsung smartphones and, surprisingly, up to 25x more reliable than Motorola phones.
"In the battle for smartphone market supremacy between Samsung and Apple, there is one big issue that no one talks about much - the overall reliability of the phones," said FixYa CEO, Yaniv Bensadon.
A total of 722 issues were collected from smartphone users for this study. FixYa found that Apple won by a surprisingly wide margin. Each manufacturer was assigned a point reliability rating. The bigger the number, the more reliable it is. Even though Samsung and Nokia have bigger losses, Motorola has fared the worst.
- Apple: 3,47 (26% market share, 74 issues)
- Samsung: 1,21 (23% market share, 187 issues)
- Nokia: 0,68 (22% market share, 324 issues)
- Motorola: 0,13 (1,8% market share, 136 issues)
A report from FixYa says that users of Samsung smartphones (Galaxy models) are having constant problems with microphones, speaker quality, and also battery life issues. According to the report, Nokia (Lumia) owners report that the phone's system is slow and has a poor ecosystem overall. Motorola isn't doing the best either, with users complaining about a lot of pre-installed (and unnecessary) software, poor quality touchscreens and bad cameras.
Of course, even the iPhone was not without its problems. The main complaints from users were battery life, lack of new features, inability to customize the system and occasional problems with Wi-Fi connection.

I would expect unreliability related to Android rather than HW. As a Samsung owner, I have to say that the only thing that bothered me about HW was GPS and the system. But otherwise I would believe the survey as a whole.
Microphone on the S3 I agree and I'm not alone
I have been using my first iPhone every day since the summer of 2007 without the slightest problem and I charge it every day. All original and functional. Thanks to the metal back, I won't let him. It's enough for me to make calls and a few simple applications. For the gadgets of the latest iOS versions, I always have the latest version of the iPad with it.
I have a Huawei P1, and I can say that it is a high-end phone. I went through iPhones, Samsungs, I really had iPhones for the longest time, because they were great. But P1 is no match. Since I am in charge of several networks for several customers, I needed something through which I can manage remote devices, view statuses, etc. The iPhone has plenty of good apps, but I was missing something like widgets on Android. When I bought the P1, I knew that if iOS didn't implement new options for working with an interface like Android, I didn't want to see it anymore. The P1 is problem-free, fast, and for me one more important thing: I have never seen a better camera than the P1 on a mobile phone. Beautiful image, sharp, even in low light, I don't even use LED lighting. Night photos without sum. The videos are also in great quality. Even the iPhone can't match that. The Huawei P2 looks a lot nicer, so hats off. And that it's Huawei? so what? they are already number 3 in the world, the price is more than interesting.
