Jan Zdarsa Press Release: Multimedia server PLAY.CZ started selling the full version of its application for iPhone on Friday, December 11, through the Apple App Store. The successor to the successful utility from this spring, which was downloaded by over 25 users, brings new functions that will improve the quality of listening to Czech FM and Internet radios and allow users to listen to radios that are not on the PLAY.CZ menu.
The key function of the PLAY.CZ news is the automatic detection of the user's connection speed to the Internet and subsequent detection Broadcast quality filtering. Owners of the application can thus listen to most radio stations in two to four times higher quality than before. The quality corresponding to the connection speed can be easily predefined.
Another very valuable novelty for the user is the bookmark Stream Manager, where you can define your own radios in any quality in formats that the iPhone supports (most often MP3 and AAC). You enter the address of the stream in the URL field, the application will retrieve the information about the radio and save it to the list.
Changes also occurred in the player environment. A function has been added to the classic controls Sleep, which postpones turning off the radio playback, similar to, for example, the TV. The storage of six favorite stations and information about the song currently being played is also more transparent. The information strip at the top of the screen now serves as a link to the information page of individual radios. When swiping horizontally, the station detail with current articles and contact information is loaded in the integrated web browser.
The application can be downloaded from the App Store for a pleasant 3,99 Euros. In addition to the paid "Full" version, an update of the first version, called Lite, will appear in the near future (after approval by Apple). In addition to improving the stability of the application and optimizing performance, it will also contain some innovations from the paid version - for example, clearer information about the song being played, the function Sleep and more descriptive station memorization.
The Czech multimedia application for the iPhone was prepared by PLAY.CZ. The latter is, among other things, the operator of the server of the same name and the largest provider of streaming solutions for radio stations in the Czech Republic.

I'll join in too - 4 "ojra" is quite enough. I have the original PLAY.CZ and I use it sometimes. I wonder what will be cut in that LITE version. So that I don't update and lose functionality unnecessarily.
Take it from the other side. €4 is not that much, CZK 100. If you have to pay developers and other things around, then it's not such fun. The AppStore itself somewhat distorts the prices, etc.
And lite will be free?
