After several years of effort, Apple managed to establish itself in the huge and increasingly rapidly growing Indian market, both from the point of view of a seller of phones and other electronics, and mainly as a manufacturer that contributes to the Indian economy by also producing the phones sold here. Following on from this, the company has launched a new marketing campaign celebrating the 'fantastic' iPhone 6s made right in India.

Apart from the very fact that it is an iPhone made entirely in India, Apple also intends to score points with the price. Thanks to it, he wants to improve his position on the Indian market, which is a big enough attraction for the company to go through the whole several-month torture of negotiating production permits, sales and other conditions.

During last year, Apple started producing the iPhone SE here, and after a few months, it also received permission to produce the parallel model 6s. According to some guesses, it is expected that it could start production there for more current and powerful phones as well.

Apple made the move to manufacture iPhones directly in India for more or less one reason and that is to avoid paying import tax which is very high in this segment and Apple would have to sell the phones at very high prices in the Indian market to cover the import costs . In addition, this would make the phone very uncompetitive. Given the gigantic size of the entire market, it paid off for Apple to arrange all kinds of permits and start producing iPhones right there.

iPhone 6s goes on sale in India for less than nine thousand crowns. Despite this, however, Apple is not doing as well as the company's management would probably imagine. In addition to increasing iPhone sales, Apple is also focusing on the possibility of opening the first official Apple store in the country. However, for this to be allowed, the company must produce at least 30% of the range sold here. Apple has yet to succeed in this.
