After the introduction of the iPhone 4 in June of this year, Apple took smartphones to new dimensions. In addition to dozens of HW improvements, the new "four" also brought design pleasure, not only with regard to the new look, but also the color. The novelty was supposed to be a full white appearance (that is, not just the back, as with the 3G, 3GS), which, at least according to the published images, looked really great with the back glass and metal frame.
Unfortunately, even the master carpenter is cut, and Apple's production problems did not allow this model to be put on the shelves together with the black brother. Everything was supposed to be resolved within a month, but this was not confirmed and the white model was postponed until the end of 2010. The problem itself was said to be in the shades of the individual models, which simply did not match each other, and what is not perfect, Apple simply does not release from the workshop.
Time slowly progressed and new information and photos about the white iPhone 4 began to appear on the Internet, mostly with the wording that this model has already been produced and is only waiting for distribution after the Christmas Eve case. Trudy Muller (Apple spokeswoman), however, refuted this rumor today and stated that the sale of the white iPhone 4 will be delayed once again and this time until the spring of 2011. Bad language, but immediately after this publication, they came to the surface with the opinion that the white model will be, and the theoretical one is now definitively canceled and the white color will only appear in the iPhone 5, which should arrive in June next year.
What is your opinion? Will Apple come with a white iPhone 4 in the spring, or will we see the white color only in the new iPhone 5? Have your say in the comments.

If the white iPhone 4 comes in the spring or not, I don't think it matters anymore, those who wanted a four already have it. I originally wanted the white version too, but I didn't want to wait until Christmas - I can see that I did the right thing. Anyway, it's obvious that the white iPhone 4 is going to be a great collector's item someday, regardless of whether it's finally released or not, there are already a few around the world, and these phones will go up a lot in price among Apple fans and collectors :)
The strange thing is that I saw a lot of them in a shop in Thailand. And they looked good. It's probably stolen from China, or it's the unlucky white who doesn't like Apple. And they weren't fake, which surprised me the most. Ipads must have been sold there at the same prices as in the USA, i.e. so 5000 cheaper than here.
In that Thailand there can be a lot of them, but they can also be very successful imitations (successful only for the eyes). HW and the processing itself is at the level of the PDA I had 6 years ago... :)
I have an iphone 4 and I know the knockoffs. I had the balls in my hand. Fake probably wouldn't connect to itunes
I personally will wait for the release of the iPhone 4 in white color...according to the first photos it looked stunning...and I wanted to have an all-white phone from Apple...I didn't like the 3G and 3Gs when they were black on the front and white on the back...and if there will be / there won't be a 5, it doesn't matter anymore….if it's not better in terms of design than the 4, I don't care…my 3G will last for now…. :D :D
so so.. I'll also wait for the whitish version and then 2G will go to Duchod or I'll give it away :)
Hh... I personally didn't like the white color that much, and that's why he stood here right at the opening ceremony on the vaclavak and I have black color. But from a purely practical point of view, I would say that after the launch in the spring there is no point in buying a white iPhone 4: Spring - i.e. March, April,... The launch can easily be moved by a month - and now consider that you will buy the newly launched iPhone 4 white and in a month someone will show you the iPhone 5, which will have everything 4x better + it will contain some groundbreaking news :-D and you will regret that you didn't use your money and buy a 5 straight away :-)
I have to say that I don't really care about the color and I don't really care if it ever goes white or not. It's just an expensive phone and I'm not going to wear it with a jacket as a tie to match :)
This is exactly the opinion that causes beautiful things, outstanding above the average, to be unreasonably expensive in the Czech Republic. :-(
