This was not a gimmick, but a cunning advertising campaign. They release the phones cheaper, wait for fifty orders, cut it and then say that it was a mistake, but that they are a fair company and they will sell the phones. It cost a few tens of thousands, but they were written about everywhere and mostly in a good way. They wouldn't even buy a full-page ad in a newspaper for that kind of money, and it certainly wouldn't have such an impact.

as I want an ip for my girlfriend, but honestly I won't pay 14k for her :/ and 3GS somehow don't get significantly cheaper :(
So there are a lot of people selling their 3GS now. It wouldn't be entirely new though. But you can definitely find very little used pieces.
anyway, I'd like to buy something better for myself and sell the 3GS :) after all, only SapLogon 720 even if it crashes, Office 2007, IE 8 in a company where 6 is the standard, etc. :D

VF doesn't block any phones, so the iPhone 4 shouldn't be blocked either.

Yes, that's right, you won't get a discount.. But you can buy an iPhone 4 with a tariff of 177 CZK (data), then you'll get a discount.. and after 6 months you just cancel the contract, the discount is then more than 1000 :)
