But the truth is that the vast majority of Apple users focused mainly on the Pro models, while the basic versions remained more or less unnoticed. There is nothing to be surprised about. The new "Pročka" bring a number of interesting changes, starting with the removal of the upper cutout, up to the new 48 Mpx camera. However, the iPhone 14 (Plus) was not so lucky. Only Apple slightly surprised by canceling the compact mini model, which was replaced by the larger 6,7" iPhone 14 Plus. However, the fundamental parameters have not changed.
Even so, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus bring a relatively fundamental innovation that is hardly even talked about. They bring a revolution in terms of service options. For these two models, Apple came up with a very unexpected change for the benefit of the users themselves, when they significantly simplified their repairs. Both do-it-yourselfers and traditional services can benefit from this.
Finally, the glass back can be serviced
For experienced iPhone repairmen, it does not present such a big challenge. For example, the battery or the display are relatively easily accessible and can be easily replaced if one has enough experience, knowledge and the appropriate tools. But for years there has been a problem with the glass backs of the iPhone, which Apple has been using since the arrival of the iPhone 8, when it put them in place for a relatively simple reason. He responded to the growing trend of wireless charging through the Qi standard. Unfortunately, it also brought with it a huge inconvenience. The rear glass cannot simply be separated from the frame of the device.

In this case, a special laser is offered as a solution, which can separate the glue and thus make the back of the device accessible. But unfortunately that's not all. At the same time, it is necessary to completely break the glass and gradually separate it from the frame, which is not only unnecessarily lengthy, but also dangerous. Moreover, it is still a relatively expensive method. Subsequently, one more method is offered - a more expensive repair directly from Apple. Starting with the iPhone 14 (Plus), that is already a thing of the past.
The rear glass can finally be separated in the same way as the display. So just unscrew the two screws on the bottom, heat the back and then separate it from the phone, to which the back glass is glued and snapped with metal plates. Thanks to this, the entire repair is much faster and, above all, cheaper. Specifically, it can cost you up to 3 times cheaper than other models. But it doesn't end there with the possibility of a simple glass back repair. Apple has made another change. While with older generations you could see inside the device after removing the display, now you will only see the metal plate underneath. On the other hand, the components are now accessible from the back, which again brings many other benefits and significantly simplifies repairs as such.
