In addition, the world is currently plagued by a not very pleasant situation with a shortage of chips, which will affect a number of manufacturers and thus limit the supply of their products. The problem is most often discussed in connection with computers. In order to prevent something similar from happening in the case of Apple phones, Apple is intensively negotiating with its main chip supplier, the Taiwanese company TSMC. This is precisely why production will increase in the third quarter of this year. The same applies to other suppliers, where components for Apple products will simply have priority. This should avoid any supply-side issues that the Cupertino giant faced last year with the iPhone 12 Pro.
