The world of IT is dynamic, constantly changing and, above all, quite hectic. After all, in addition to the daily wars between tech giants and politicians, there are regularly news that can take your breath away and somehow outline the trend that humanity could be heading for in the future. But keeping track of all the sources can be hellishly difficult, so we have prepared this section for you, where we will briefly summarize some of the most important news of the day and present the hottest daily topics circulating on the Internet.

Compared to the premium iPhone 12 Pro model, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra didn't even make the cut

Although bad speakers often claim that the Apple smartphone lags behind the competition in terms of performance and can only boast of such an elegant ecosystem and a well-tuned system, the situation has slowly turned around in recent years, and even so far smartphones from Samsung, now Apple is slowly taking over. After all, this was also confirmed by the latest speed test, which pitted the latest iPhone 12 Pro against each other and the premium, luxurious model Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, which repeatedly boasted of well-inflated internals and excellent workmanship. After all, thanks to the Snapdragon 865+ chip, 12GB of RAM and a special graphics core, the South Korean smartphone becomes a pretty fast stinger that should not be afraid of its place.

That's what most customers thought until the iPhone 12 Pro with the A14 Bionic chip appeared on the scene and showed Samsung what it's all about. According to the test, the apple smartphone defeated the South Korean giant by exactly 17 seconds, although the iPhone can boast "only" 6GB of RAM and costs exactly $300 less. However, it should be noted that iOS gives Apple a significant advantage, i.e. its own operating system, which it can debug and optimize at will. In this regard, Samsung has to rely on Android, which is hard to pin down in places, and it would be fair to say that using the same system would erase the bigger differences. Even so, this is a remarkable result and we can only hope that Apple will be inspired by this success in the future.

WhatsApp messages will now disappear after just 7 days. What to expect from the news?

Although the WhatsApp service falls under Facebook, which in itself may sound somewhat counterproductive in terms of user privacy, it is nevertheless a reliable and, above all, a secure application, which differs from Messenger not only in its end-to-end encryption, which ensures a minimal chance of breaking news, but also a significantly increased regard for sensitive user data. For this reason as well, the technology giant is coming up with a new product that will surely please all active users. And that is special messages that automatically disappear after 7 days and will be untraceable. So, if you have several unimportant conversations in the application at once, or if you are worried that the given conversation can be traced back, you no longer have to worry about this ailment.

One way or another, it is far from a native setting and the function can of course be turned off at any time. Likewise, you will only be able to activate the gadget for selected conversations without affecting the rest. You can archive messages from family and friends and have the rest deleted with a clear conscience. However, this is definitely a step in the right direction, especially towards greater privacy for users, who will be able to choose which messages they want to keep. We can only hope that Facebook will not delay the implementation too much and rush the update as soon as possible.

Only a few lucky people will be enjoying the new PlayStation 5 anytime soon

There has been more demand for the next generation of consoles than Japan's Sony expected, leading to much speculation that only a few lucky pre-orderers will get the device on release day and the rest will have to wait a few weeks. And as the fans said, so it happened. Sony has repeatedly confirmed that it does not have time to produce a sufficient number of units and it will take some time before the console reaches the homes of later buyers. Although many PlayStation lovers could have hoped to simply take a vacation on the day of release and stand in line for a few hours, in the end even this option fell through, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Sony has officially called on fans not to gather, as the pieces will not be physically available.

The only exception will be people who have pre-ordered the device. They will get a release date when they can buy the console. Either way, the rest of the players won't likely get it until around Christmas, according to Sony, more than a month and a half after the November 12th release in North America and November 19th in the UK. As far as Czech meadows and groves are concerned, we are also unfortunately unlucky. According to the statements of the majority of stores and e-shops, the next expected stocking will take place only in February, and it is not possible to count on the fact that anything will change significantly by then. So we can only cross our fingers and hope that Sony somehow manages to stock a sufficient number of units.
