In the middle of this month, we told you about the imaginative Shot on iPhone series of videos that Apple used to promote the Slofie feature - which is part of last year's iPhones. Now there is another interesting addition to the family of snowboarding videos from the Shot on iPhone series, which is definitely worth watching. We can enjoy it with breathtaking shots of the four best participants of the winter X Games.

Shots from four angles

The video was shot at Baldface Lodge in British Columbia, Canada, and the protagonists ski down pristine powder in the Selkirk Mountains at an altitude of 6700 feet (2042 meters), where people are transported either by snowmobile or directly by helicopter. The latest video from the Shot on iPhone series, which Apple has posted as usual on its YouTube channel, features former and current Winter X Games participants - Red Gerard, Danny Davis, Kimmy Fasani and Ben Ferguson.

This time, the shots are taken from four different points of view – the bird's-eye shots were shot from a helicopter or a drone, the cameras were placed directly on the slopes, the moving shots were shot by other snowboarders, and the protagonists of the video were also equipped with a smartphone for filming.

Emmy nominee?

Baldface Lodge is a popular and relatively luxurious snowboard and ski resort, where prices for one day are around a thousand Canadian dollars. Visitors usually get here by a short helicopter flight. As with most shots of this type, in addition to the iPhone 11 Pro, professional stabilization technology and lenses were also used in the filming of this spot. Last year, Apple received the prestigious Emmy Award for its Shot on iPhone advertising campaign - let's wonder if it will be the same this year.
