Quite a lot of time has passed since the release of iPhones, and the web has a huge number of all kinds of tests and reviews focusing on various aspects of the new products. The testing of this year's novelties by the DXOMark server, which traditionally thoroughly tests and compares the performance of cameras in new smartphones, was awaited with great anticipation. The iPhone 11 Pro test is finally out, and as it turns out, according to their measurements, it is not the best camera phone today.

You can read the entire test here or watch the video below in the article. The 11 Pro Max appeared in the test and received an overall rating of 117 points, which marks the overall third place in the DXOMark ranking. The novelty from Apple was thus ranked behind the pair of Chinese flagships Huawei Mate 30 Pro and Xiaomi Mic CC9 Pro Premium. DXOMark recently started to evaluate the quality (recording and acquisition) of audio as well. In this respect, the new iPhone 11 Pro is the best of all the tested phones so far. But back to the test of the camera's capabilities. iOS 13.2 was used for testing, which includes the latest iteration of Deep Fusion. Thanks to it, the iPhone 11 Pro was able to at least somewhat compete with models that have a larger sensor and thus achieve better results in some conditions.

As with previous iPhones, praise for the captured dynamic range and level of detail of the test images appears in the test. Autofocus is very fast, and the automatic image stabilization during video recording is equally excellent. Compared to last year's iPhone XS, there is significantly less noise in the photos from the iPhone 11 Pro.

What Apple does not compare to its Android competitors is the maximum level of optical zoom (up to 5x for Huawei) and the artificial bokeh effect is also far from perfect. Some tested phones from the Android platform have a lower error rate of spatial display of the captured scene with their systems. As for the video itself, Apple has excelled here for a long time, and nothing has changed in the result this year. In a separate video evaluation, the iPhone scored 102 points and shares first place with the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition.
