However, the iPhone 11 Pro Max gives the best results when shooting video. It is in this area that he is renowned DxOMark server called the best smartphone 2019.
DxOMark tested a total of 31 new smartphones this year. As the year draws to a close, it has now announced the best phones in a total of five different categories: best overall, best for zoom, best for ultra-wide, best for night photography and best for video. It was in the last-mentioned category that the iPhone 11 Pro Max took first place, and it didn't do badly in some of the other rankings either.

As testing has shown, the iPhone 11 Pro Max is capable of recording really high-quality videos, even under less than optimal conditions. DxOMark mainly praises the accurate capture of shadow details even when capturing a scene with high contrast. Color rendering is also of high quality, which is largely supported by the phone's ability to record in HDR. The details are excellent, especially when recording in 4K resolution, where the phone also handles noise reduction very well. Automatic focus and optical image stabilization are also sophisticated - only when shooting while walking is the effect of stabilization visible a little more.
However, despite all the improvements, the iPhone 11 Pro Max with 117 points is the third best camera phone today. Samsung's Galaxy Note 10+ 5G also has the same number of points. Huawei Mate 121 Pro and Xiaomi Mi CC30 Pro Premium Edition occupy the first and second place of the ranking with the same score of 9 points.
Apple's phone also did well in the best ultra-wide category, coming in second to the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 5G. Somewhat surprisingly, however, the iPhone 11 Pro Max did not even make it to one of the first positions in terms of night photography. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro currently reigns supreme here with 61 points, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max has 53 points.
