On the Jablíčkára website, from time to time we will introduce you to an application that is used to create and manage lists of various tasks and reminders. Applications of this type also include Tasks: Smart Lists & Reminders, which we will take a closer look at today.

Appearance

When you first launch Tasks: Smart Lists & Reminders, you'll be given a choice - you can either create your own project or explore a sample project. The main screen of the application consists of a side panel with an overview of projects and a main panel. After opening the project, you will see three panels - on the far left you will find an overview of lists of tasks, labels and priorities, in the middle panel there is a list of individual tasks, on the right there is a panel for the tasks you are currently working on, and on the far right you will find a list of completed tasks. Clicking on individual tasks will automatically move them to the work-in-progress list, and from the work-in-progress list, the tasks will be clicked to move them to the completed list. At the top right you will find a button to create a new task, then at the top left there is a button for settings.

Function

The Tasks: Smart Lists & Reminders application is aimed especially at those users for whom simple to-do lists made up of individual points are not enough. In the app, you can add additional content and notes to individual items, set a due date, create and track different projects, and collaborate on them with other users. You can add not only "completed" but also "processing", "checked" or "to be processed" to individual tasks. You can also import your notes and reminders from other apps into the app. The application offers a free basic version, with the premium version (339 crowns per year or 1050 one-off for a lifetime license) you get the ability to create an unlimited number of projects, share and collaborate, the ability to choose an application icon and the ability to synchronize via iCloud.
