The iPad, especially in conjunction with the Apple Pencil, is an excellent tool for editing and annotating files. In today's installment of our series on interesting applications, we will introduce Flexcil for editing and annotating PDF files on the iPad.

Appearance

Upon launch, Flexcil first guides you through a brief overview of its features and capabilities before redirecting you to its main screen. On it you will find folders for your files, several templates and sample documents. In the upper right corner of the display there are search and selection buttons, under these buttons you can change the way files are displayed. In the sidebar, located on the left side of the screen, you will then find a menu with files and folders. At the bottom of the menu there are buttons for settings, help and contacting support.

Function

Flexcil offers users rich options for adding annotations to PDF files. When creating notes, you have a number of writing and editing tools at your disposal, the application supports gesture control and offers handwriting recognition. You can also add images from your photo gallery or camera to your notes, any number of note sheets can be added to one document. You can underline, highlight and erase text in PDF documents. You can work with both your fingers and Apple Pencil. All described tools are available in the free version of Flexcil.
