According to a survey by STEM/MARK, a total of 6% of the population of the Czech Republic is considering buying an iPad. A surprisingly high number, but the iPad simply arouses enthusiasm wherever it appears.

The STEM/MARK company's research focused on electronic book readers and the iPad multi-functional device, where reading books is one of the main declared functions. Research has shown that 41% of the population know, which is an electronic book reader. It is surprising that for the new iPad device, which is officially sold only in the USA so far, the majority of the Czech population (53%) said that they had already heard about the device.

When asked whether people own an electronic book reader, 1% of respondents responded positively. On the contrary, 6% of respondents stated that in are considering purchasing an iPad in the future. The research also showed that both men and women have a similar interest in the iPad, regardless of age. The survey was created with the help of quota and random selection of respondents according to gender, education, age and region, the resulting set represents the general population aged 15 to 59 years.

There is really enormous interest in the iPad, which is why the start of international sales of the iPad has also been postponed. However, even these days, the iPad is often in short supply in the US. After the release of the iPad the enthusiasm of the people did not fade, on the other hand, demand for the iPad in the US is growing. In a poll by ChangeWave, 7% of the US population said they were likely to buy an iPad, and another 13% said they were seriously considering it.
