On the night of Monday to Tuesday, Apple closed its Apple Online Store in order to install new iPad minis with Retina display. This is a rather unexpected move, as Apple has never specified when the new iPad mini will go on sale. However, he did everything quietly mainly because the stock of his new tablet is really very limited. Practically nowhere is the iPad mini with Retina display immediately available...
Initially, it was speculated that the smaller tablet would go on sale on November 12 only in some countries, but in the end the Czech Republic, for example, got to see it. However, it lights up on all models they will be available to ship in 5-10 business days. They are not better off elsewhere either. The US store will ship some models in 1-3 business days at the earliest.
This confirmed reports and speculation that supplies of the new iPad mini with Retina display will be very limited before Christmas. Problems are encountered in the production of Retina displays, of which there is simply not enough time to produce.
In the Czech Republic, the new iPad mini goes on sale for 9 crowns, which is how much the 790GB model with Wi-Fi costs. Higher capacities cost 16, 12 and 290 crowns respectively. Models with a mobile connection start at 14 crowns, and the most expensive 790GB variant costs 17 crowns. The new Apple tablets should be in the hands of the first customers within two weeks, if Apple keeps the deadlines.
Delivery 27.11. – 4.12…..well, it feels like a week :-(
Ship Date != Delivery Date …
that's not true, the shipping date for the iPad mini is completely different than the delivery date, because it travels from overseas, so + approx. 5 days... Information directly from apple
Agreement. When I ordered rMBP, it didn't run out from the Czech warehouse, but arrived directly from Holland (express via UPS). So I wouldn't be surprised if they send it straight from the factory in China...
In January, I ordered an Air 13″ with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD. And I just ran out of it straight from China.-))
Yes Lukas, exactly. Stands, packaging and similar crap are not sent from China or America. New products are shipped differently.
It is not true at all that it would take about 5 days.. I ordered some things from the apple store 14 days ago.. one day at ten in the evening it was ordered, the next day in the evening it was delivered to my house in the afternoon.. and it was delivered also primo from the USA
And what else did I write? The shipping date is 5-10 working days, i.e. sent no later than 26.11., then delivery is scheduled for 27.11. – 4.12. … ? I just wanted to explain to Mek that it is not stated anywhere that it will arrive within a week...
I would like to ask, do you know if there will be a discount on the iPad Mini on Black Friday? I would like to buy the 64 GB version, if it was on sale. Thanks for the reply.
then write if they overheat catastrophically like everything that has a retina :) thank you
If it seems to you that it is catastrophic overheating, then I assume that there is a nuclear fusion going on at home on your stove (according to your perception of temperatures) ;)
I worked for a year at APR and iPad 3 or 4 were personally unbearable and unpleasant for me after an hour of work
I had an iPad 3 in my hand in the store where it was charging and when I started a 3D game, the temperature was really uncomfortably high. My iPad 2, on the other hand, was completely cold all the time.
It is GENERALLY known that the iPad 3 OVERHEATED!!! so please guys don't drag it into the ipad mini retina conversation! and so that my contribution has at least some value to the article, I will add that I played for about an hour straight on the iPad Air to put a strain on it, and there was some guy on Facebook in front of it, and I felt that the bottom of the device (at the back) was warmer, so to speak and it makes my hand sweat... but I don't think it will be the same on the iPad mini because it is held completely differently, so in my opinion there is no danger of "sweating hands" or your "third degree burns" :)
As I just tested the ipad air for this very complaint and any game you play will only heat it up a little... nothing serious... The only thing that can really heat up the ipad is xcom, which I had the honor of playing for 4 hours :-DDD Not a single application crash and I enjoyed the 4 hours incredibly :-D 9 euros well spent :-D
This is exactly what I thought :) I held it in one hand as long as possible to feel its weight even after holding it for some time and that's when I noticed it :)
I'm sorry, I'm playing chess on this, you're right in this respect. But on the other hand, every device will heat up when it's heated like that, but aluminum conducts heat better than plastic.
Phew, I finally gave up waiting and bought an ipad air today. Great facility!
Payment authorized. Come on!
In the afternoon I was at the Apple Store Vancouver. iPad Air is great, iPad Mini with retina ... not a single sample in the store :-(
