The iPad mini 4 also has 2,5x to 3,5x better contrast in ambient light than most competing tablets.
The most significant difference between the iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 4 can be found in the battery. The large iPad can fit two batteries (as well as the iPad mini 3), but the fourth Mini cannot accommodate such a large battery due to its thinner body. The iPad mini 4's single-cell battery has a capacity of 19,1 watt-hours, which is less than the Mini 3 (24,3 watt-hours) and Air 2 (27,2 watt-hours), but Apple still promises the same 10-hour battery life.
