Are you the owner of the latest Apple tablet - the iPad 2 - and have you purchased a magnetic Smart Cover for it? Do you have iOS 4.3.5 or 5.0 installed on it with passcode on? Then you should be smart, because anyone can unlock your iPad even without entering a code lock.
The procedure is very simple:
- Lock the iPad
- Hold the power button until the red arrow comes out to turn off the device
- Click the Smart Cover
- Unfold the Smart Cover
- Press the button Zrušit
That's all. Fortunately, a potential intruder does not have unlimited options. If you got to the home screen before locking your iPad, an intruder can't launch any apps. Unfortunately, however has the right to delete applications, which is of course a big mistake made by Apple. If you've locked your iPad without minimizing the currently running app, an intruder will be able to use that app with almost no restrictions. So, for example, if you left an email client open, it can happily send emails under your name.
How to protect yourself? First of all, cancel the option of locking/unlocking the iPad with the Smart Cover in the settings, because ordinary magnets are enough for anyone to "simulate" it. Second, always minimize the app to the home screen. And finally, thirdly, wait for the latest iOS 5 update.

I don't know about others, but normal people have iOS5 for a long time. And some idiot who curses the show about having to connect the iPad/iPhone to iTunes every time is out of luck.
Yes, the article is definitely up to date!
if I remember correctly, this error will be removed after the latest iOS5 update...
so with iOS5 being built, it can still be done...
Yes, on iOS5 it works constantly and without problems.
It's not, but it's still so hot, because after unlocking the screen, you can't start the applications, at worst they can be deleted. The only thing worse is if you leave an app running in the background, it will jump straight to it and you can do whatever the app can do with it. And when you press the home button, the iPad automatically locks.
Oh, I don't know why, but I either didn't notice the rest of the article under the video, or it didn't show up correctly. So you can delete my comment or ignore it and let me laugh at how blind I am ;-)
Oh well :D Apple did something :) but I don't even use a passcode lock on my iPhone, so it's ok :D
