Apple released public versions of its iOS 13.4.1 and iPadOS 13.4.1 operating systems this week. These updates bring users partial performance and security improvements, as well as minor bug fixes. One of the bugs in the previous version of iOS and iPadOS 13.4 was that users could not participate in FaceTime calls with owners of devices running iOS 9.3.6 and earlier or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier.

The release of the public iOS 13.4.1 and iPadOS 13.4.1 followed not long after the release of the public version of the operating system iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4. Among other things, these operating systems also brought the long-awaited support for sharing folders on iCloud Drive, while the iPadOS 13.4 operating system brought mouse and trackpad support. At the same time, Apple started beta testing the iOS 13.4.5 operating system last week.

In addition to the aforementioned fix for a bug in FaceTime calling between Apple devices with different versions of operating systems, the current update also fixes a bug with the flashlight on the 12,9-inch iPad Pro (4th generation) and 11-inch iPad Pro (2nd generation) - this bug manifested itself in the way that it was not possible to turn on the flashlight from the locked screen or by tapping the corresponding icon in the Control Center. In the iOS 13.4.1 and iPadOS 13.4.1 operating systems, errors with Bluetooth connection and other small things were also fixed.
