From time to time, on the website of Jablíčkára, we present to you either an application that Apple offers on the main page of its App Store, or an application that simply caught our attention for any reason. Today we take a closer look at the Radio Garden Live application for listening to radio stations from around the world.
Many people enjoy listening to various radio stations. Those who enjoy this hobby have more and more opportunities in this direction with the development of modern technologies and the Internet. You can also use the many different apps that the iOS App Store offers to listen to all kinds of radio - one of these apps is Radio Garden Live, for example. Thanks to the Radio Garden Live application, you can tune in to any radio station from anywhere in the world at any time and from anywhere. The offer includes live broadcasts from literally thousands of stations.
The user interface of the Radio Garden Live application is simple, clear, and stations are selected by working with an interactive globe. On the virtual globe, you can notice green dots - they symbolize the cities from which individual stations broadcast. Simply tap on the green dot to listen to the selected station. But, of course, there is also the option of choosing from a traditional list, as well as the option of manual search. You can save the selected stations to the list of favorites, listening to the radio is also possible in the background. The Radio Garden Live app is clearly made by enthusiasts and for enthusiasts. All its functions are available to you without the need for any payment, but if you would like to remove ads (in the application, not in the broadcast, which of course the creators of the application cannot influence) and at the same time support the developers, you will pay a one-time payment of 79 crowns.
Somewhere I saw a few comments pointing out errors in the article. None of them are here and the article is still the same. Why? Somehow I don't understand the censorship, if no one there offends anyone and only helps. So what's wrong?
Radio today is no longer the same radio as it was 10 years ago. There is no mention of FM radio anywhere, but of modern radio, which is offered by, for example, Apple as part of Apple Music, or Spotify. This is definitely not an error in the article. Unfortunately, we cannot control the fact that some individuals are unable to accept progress and come to terms with the fact that radio is no longer referred to as FM radio. Comments were deleted because they contained false information.
Sorry Pavel, but you're lying in your pocket here. I understand that you are a child of the digital age and you already know about radio waves only from stories, but you still have a radio in your car that goes on ordinary FM and AM. I've seen both comments here before too, they didn't offend anyone and were completely true. If the article talks about tuning the radio, let's face it - Internet radio cannot be tuned. A few days ago I had the feeling that you were starting to have a slightly more positive attitude towards the readers here and were open to discussion, but that was probably just a momentary weakness and you are already going back to your old ways. You are the only one who is right, there is no discussion and you delete those who disagree. When you have a discussion under each article like 9to5Mac has, for example, then you can consider yourself a successful editor-in-chief. But that's definitely not what you're aiming for.
