When it comes to making audio recordings, apple smartphone owners have a native Dictaphone application at their disposal. However, if this tool does not suit you for any reason, all you have to do is look for some of the third-party applications. In today's installment of our series on iOS applications, we will introduce Noted - a slightly better voice recorder.

Appearance

After its launch, Noted briefly and clearly introduces you to its basic functions, after which you move to the main screen of the application. In its upper left corner there is a button to go to settings, in the upper right corner you will find buttons for labels and creating a new workbook. At the top of the screen there is a search bar, and on the main page you will find a sample workbook.

Function

The Noted application allows you to take and edit classic written notes, but above all it offers advanced voice recording options. In Noted, you can record audio both from your iPhone's microphone and from its speaker. During the recording, you can write your own notes in the application, which will appear on the screen along with the time when you started taking the note. You can then edit the written notes using the tools that appear above the keyboard at the bottom of the display. Labels and attachments can be added to notes. Noted also offers a noise reduction function and a simplified equalizer. The basic version of the application is free, in the Noted+ version you get the option to change themes, export to PDF, intelligent playback, the option to attach documents, advanced recording quality settings, the option to archive or perhaps advanced sharing options. Noted+ will cost you 349 crowns per year with a one-week free trial period, or 39 crowns per month with a one-week free trial period.

Finally

The Noted application is practically impossible to read. It is an ideal helper for lectures, meetings or conferences. Everything works as it should, the features in the free version are perfectly adequate, and the paid version won't break the bank.
