Every day, in this column, we will bring you a more detailed look at a selected application that has just caught our attention. Here you will find applications for productivity, creativity, utilities, but also games. Google Arts and Culture is an app for all art lovers. It offers a wide range of fun and educational features and will serve even those who have embarked on art journeys. It is closely linked with other services from Google, such as YouTube or Maps. In addition to standard information about individual works of art, trends, history or individual museums, it also offers thematic reading or an overview of current news from the world of visual arts.

Arts and Culture can not only educate in a digestible way, but also entertain. By tapping on the camera icon in the middle of the bottom bar, you can access functions such as displaying a selected piece of art right in your living room - life-size with the help of augmented reality, comparing your selfie with portraits by famous painters or generating paintings based on a palette of photos taken by you .

If you have even the simplest glasses for virtual reality, i.e. viewing 360° content, you can immediately transport yourself to the premises of the Berlin Philharmonic, the Paris Opera or Carnegie Hall, as well as natural history and other museums, with the help of Arts and Culture and YouTube.

There are many ways to choose the content you are interested in - you can search by location, type of content (artists, works, media) or artistic direction. Of course, the application also offers a magnifying glass function, when after entering the desired expression, it will offer you various types of content, from places on maps, virtual tours to articles or biographies.
