Exercise apps are always useful – while in one of the previous parts of our app tips series we introduced a program for short seven-minute exercises, today we will take a closer look at the Czech app Fitify, which offers longer exercise programs.

Appearance

When you start the Fitify app for the first time, you must first register - you will complete a short questionnaire in which you specify your goals and other details, and then choose a registration form. Fitify supports Sign in with Apple. On the app's main screen, you'll find previews of exercise plan designs. In the lower part of the display there is a bar with buttons for switching between plans, trainings, a list of exercises and for going to your profile.

Function

The Fitify application offers training programs for various purposes – those who want to lose weight, gain muscle, stretch, or even practice yoga will come in handy. You can choose workouts from ten to thirty minutes long, and you can largely customize the sets yourself. But you also have at your disposal professionally compiled tailor-made exercise programs. In the Fitify application, you can find both exercises with your own weight and with a number of different aids and tools, such as bosu, medicine ball, trapeze, dumbbells, TRX or even rubber bands. While exercising, you can also play voice accompaniment and illustrative videos in HD quality, the application also offers cooperation with Apple Watch. You can also run the exercises in offline mode. I would emphasize two big advantages of Fitify - one of them is the Czech language, the other is the price for the premium version, which is 189 crowns per month. Considering the quality of the app and the rich range of exercises, this is a very good price compared to some competing titles. You can also use Fitify in a limited free version.
