From time to time, on the Jablíčkára website, we inform you about applications that have caught our attention in some way. Today, Apple offered an application called Digital Concert Hall on the main page of its App Store, so we decided to talk about it in more detail. How did we like her?

If you're a classical music lover, you don't have to rely only on well-known streaming services such as Apple Music or Spotify. If you also like to watch concerts, you might be interested in an application called Digital Concert Hall. As the name suggests, it is essentially a virtual concert hall in which every lover of classics will find something to their liking. The application offers the possibility of watching live concert broadcasts from the premises of the Berlin Symphony, but in addition to live performances, here you will also find a comprehensive and interesting archive, films in the form of VOD, as well as interviews with performers and conductors.

The Digital Concert Hall app is free to download and you will have to pay extra for premium content. Unfortunately, the amount is not low at all - it is 3 crowns per year - but weekly access will cost you 790 crowns, and it is valid for an unlimited number of concerts, films and interviews. The application offers advanced search, including sorting into individual historical periods, categories, genres or seasons. You can also watch educational programs and playlists here. In terms of content and appearance, the Digital Concert Hall application has absolutely nothing to read, perhaps only getting a free trial version with unlimited access seems a bit confusing, when it is practically impossible to find out whether a free limited version of the application is also available and under what conditions.

Download the Digital Concert Hall app for free here.
