From time to time, on the website of Jablíčkára, we present to you either an application that Apple offers on the main page of its App Store, or an application that simply caught our attention for any reason. Today we're going to take a closer look at the Blankbook note-taking app.

The application for writing notes belongs to the overwhelming majority of Apple users as an integral part of their iPhones. Although the native Notes application that is part of the iOS operating system can serve great for these purposes, some people prefer third-party applications. One of them is, for example, Blankbook. The creators of this application promise users practically infinite space for their notes. Blankbook is a minimalist and maximalist application at the same time. It is minimalistic in the sense that it will not burden you with any superfluous and unnecessary elements, but will offer you exactly what you cannot do without when creating and managing your notes. The maximalism of the Blankbook application, on the other hand, lies in the generous space it offers you for your notes – it is essentially an infinite canvas on which you can create as you please.

As far as tools are concerned, you can use a virtual pen, pencil or marker within the Blankbook application, you will also have a ruler, an eraser, but also a lasso for copying, cutting and pasting objects. In addition, Blankbook will also provide you with several different types of paper for your work – dotted, square, lined, but also sheet music or paper with vertical lines. You can share your creations in the usual ways or export to PDF format. The basic limited version of Blankbook is available for free, but the full version is definitely worth it, where you get tools for each note separately, an infinite canvas, dark mode support and other bonuses. The premium version will cost you 179 crowns once with a lifetime license.
