Yesterday saw a very unusual phenomenon in the Apple world. Shortly after the brand new iOS 8 received its first minor update, the Californian company had to patch download. For a number of users, it brought serious problems to their iPhones 6 and 6 Plus, such as the inability to log in to the mobile network or use the Touch ID function.

Apple can count one more among its PR failures in recent days. After the controversy caused indiscriminate distribution Sunrise Songs of Innocence by U2 and upheaval with bending iPhones the third inconvenience is the problematic iOS update with the number 8.0.1. The latter was originally supposed to treat several errors in the newly deployed operating system, but along with it, it also added several new problems. iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users report problems especially with the signal - the phones get stuck in the network search phase.

Due to these huge problems, the iPhone manufacturer immediately withdrew the update, but some users already had enough to switch to this version. Many of them always update to the latest system shortly after its release. If you belong to this group, don't despair. There is a way to turn your new iPod touch into a fully functional iPhone again.

The solution is to go back to version 8.0 through the iTunes application. The procedure is as follows:

  • Download the 8.0 pro operating system file from the Apple website iPhone 6 or 6 iPhone Plus.
  • Connect your phone to your computer. It can be a Mac or a PC, but it should have the latest version of iTunes installed.
  • Launch iTunes and select your phone in it.
  • Hold down the Alt (Windows Shift) key and click the Restore button.
  • Select the previously downloaded operating system file and confirm.
  • Wait for your iPhone to restore to iOS 8.0 and test that everything is working again.

After completing this process, the signal issues should be resolved. If you don't have a computer to connect your phone to at the moment, there's unfortunately no way to deal with this problem.

Apple has not yet commented on the serious error in the operating system, according to tweet diary USA Today however, the California-based firm is "actively investigating the issue and will update as soon as possible."

[to action=”update” date=”25. 9. 12:00″/]Apple has already issued a statement that it is working on a fix that should come in the coming days. Until then, it advises users to follow a similar procedure as above. “We apologize for the inconvenience, we are constantly working on iOS 8.0.2 which will solve the problem. We will release it in the next few days as soon as it is ready.” he said applepro The Verge.
