When Apple introduced the operating system last year iOS 14, which was loaded with a number of great features, at the same time slightly disappointed many apple lovers. He removed the iconic element used to select the time and date in the form of a rotating drum. This element was then replaced by a hybrid version, where you could either write the time directly on the keyboard, or move it in a small box in the same way as in iOS 13. However, this change last year did not meet with a warm welcome. Users described it as complex and unintuitive - which is why Apple has now decided to go back to the old ways.

What the change looks like in practice:

iOS 15, presented yesterday, brings back the well-known method. In addition, users of iPhones and iPads know this very well, while at the same time it is extremely simple at first glance. Simply slide your finger in the appropriate direction and you're practically done. Of course, this "old-fashioned" change is not only reflected in the Clock application, i.e. when setting alarms, but you will also come across it, for example, in Reminders, Calendar and other applications from third-party developers - in short, across the entire system.

Of course, not every apple grower shares the same view. I personally know a lot of people in my area who liked the change brought by iOS 14 very quickly. According to them, it is much simpler, and above all, faster, when the desired time is directly entered using the keyboard. But it is clear that the older method is more friendly for a wider group of users.
