If you are among the individuals who are interested in the apple company, then you certainly did not miss this year's developer conference WWDC a few months ago. At this conference, Apple presents new versions of its operating systems every year - and this year was no different. In particular, we saw the presentation of iOS and iPadOS 15, macOS 12 Monterey, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15. All these systems are currently only available as part of beta versions, but soon we will see an official release for the general public. If you are among the individuals who test beta versions, or if you would like to take a look at some new features in advance, then our tutorial section has recently been designed for you. Today we look at another new feature from iOS 15.

iOS 15: How to Change Forwarding Email Address from Hide My Email

Apple is one of the few companies in the world that cares about making its customers feel safe. We prove it by constantly adding features that take care of user security and privacy. In addition to the systems mentioned above, Apple also introduced a "new" iCloud+ service, which will give users access to the Hide My Email feature. If you activate this function, a special e-mail box will be created, to which you can have various e-mails sent. As soon as a message arrives at this e-mail box, it will be automatically forwarded to your personal e-mail. Thanks to this, no one will find out the name of your personal email, which is essential from the point of view of security. Here's how you can tell Apple which address emails will be forwarded to:

  • First, you need to switch to the native app on your iPhone with iOS 15 Settings.
  • Once you've done that, tap on at the top of the screen tab with your profile.
  • Then go down a bit below and click the box with the name iCloud.
  • Then go down again a bit below, where click on the line Hide my email.
  • After the next screen loads, click on the option at the bottom Forward to.
  • Here it is enough to simply have selected an email account, to which the messages are to be forwarded.
  • After selecting your account, don't forget to tap the button in the upper right corner All done.

Using the method above, you can set which of your email accounts all messages from "protected" mailboxes will be forwarded to within the Hide My Email feature of iOS 15 on your iPhone. As I mentioned above, the Hide My Email feature is only available if you have iCloud+. This service is available to all individuals who subscribe to iCloud and do not use the free plan.
