If you are one of those people who follow everything that happens in the world of Apple, then you certainly did not miss the introduction of new apple operating systems a few months ago. Specifically, we got iOS and iPadOS 15, macOS 12 Monterey, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15, and the presentation took place at the developer conference WWDC, where the apple company presents new systems every year. At the moment, all mentioned systems are still available only as beta versions, which are intended for all testers and developers. If you are one of them, then our instructional section, in which we discuss new functions from the mentioned systems, will surely come in handy recently. In this tutorial, we will look at another feature from iOS 15.

iOS 15: How to Turn Off Screen Sharing Notifications

As is customary, iOS 15 received the biggest changes of all the presented systems. For example, the FaceTime application received major changes, within which you can also make calls with users who do not own an Apple device - for them, the FaceTime interface appears on website. In addition, it is possible to invite other participants to the call simply by using a link, so you do not need to have the individual in question in your contacts. However, we must not forget the option that makes it possible to share your iPhone or iPad screen with other participants during a FaceTime call. This can be useful, for example, when presenting, or if you want to show other individuals a procedure. But none of us probably want your personal notifications to appear when sharing the screen. The engineers at Apple thought of this as well and came up with a feature that makes it possible to turn off screen sharing notifications, as follows:

  • First, you need to switch to the native app on your iPhone with iOS 15 Settings.
  • Once you've done that, drop something below and click the box with the name Notification.
  • Then click on the line at the top of the screen Screen sharing.
  • Finally, you just need to use the switch deactivated possibility Enable notifications.

Using the above method, it is possible to turn off the display of incoming notifications in iOS 15 when you are currently sharing your screen. Practically all of us will appreciate this, as you never know when, for example, a friend will send you some less appropriate message that other individuals should not see. In addition to being able to share the screen in FaceTime, you can also share it while streaming, for example to the Twitch platform.
