At the beginning of June, Apple showed us new operating systems on the occasion of the WWDC21 developer conference. Although he managed their presentation excellently, he probably won't get a significant standing ovation. Currently, the portal SellCell came up with an interesting survey in which he asked the people involved whether iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 impressed them, or what they liked the most. And the results were quite surprising.

iOS 15 and Focus Mode for Productivity:

3 people over the age of 18 took part in the survey, which could also be divided into men and women in a roughly 1:1 ratio. All respondents were from the United States of America and are regular users of iPhones or iPads. Over 50% of respondents answered that there are news from iOS/iPadOS 15 only a little, or practically interesting at all, while according to 28,1% they are mildly interesting and only 19,3% believe that they are extremely or otherwise very interesting. According to 23% of the participants in this survey, the best new feature of the mentioned systems is the ability to save various ID cards in the Wallet application, which actually does not apply to us, Czech apple growers. Another 17,3% of respondents appreciate better Spotlight search and 14,2% of them liked the new features in Find.

But the new systems also boasted new functions, which unfortunately did not meet with success. Less than one percent of respondents find Shared with You in iMessage, the new Health feature, and better Apple Maps charming, which is woefully low. About 5% of them appreciate Spatial Audio, screen sharing, grid display and portrait mode in FaceTime, redesigned notifications and the new Focus mode. So that the survey was not only about criticism, its participants were given space to express what they would most like to see in the systems. It was once again confirmed that the stumbling block is iPadOS, which limits its users. According to 14,9%, more professional applications such as Xcode and Final Cut Pro should be on the iPad, and 13,2% would welcome better support for connecting an external display. In the case of both systems, 32,3% of users would appreciate interactive widgets and 21% want an always-on display.

The survey also addressed superstitions in the case of the iPhone 13 name:
