Both developer and public beta testing is practically over. As early as next week, owners of compatible iPhones and other Apple products will receive new systems, specifically in the form of iOS and iPadOS 15, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15. These systems were introduced a few months ago at the WWDC21 developer conference. The new systems bring many new functions, specifically in the Notes, FaceTime and partly Photos applications.

However, third-party application developers themselves will also benefit. They have new API interfaces at their disposal, for example in the form of Safari extensions, Shazam integration or perhaps support for the new Focus mode with the applications created by them. Developers who are ready for these changes can now submit their applications or updates to the App Store.

Introducing iOS 15 at WWDC21:

The only Apple operating system for which it is not possible to send new versions of applications is macOS Monterey for now. Apple should release the update for Apple computers sometime later this year - after all, it was the same last year. To submit apps to the App Store for Apple phones, tablets, and watches, you'll need to have Xcode 13 RC installed on your Mac.
