iOS 13 has been with us for less than two months, and some are already starting to look into the future, what all its successor could bring us. Although many would certainly welcome the forthcoming iOS 14 to bring optimizations in particular, it is more or less clear that we will also see a few novelties. The latest concept from the YouTuber's workshop the Hacker 34 gives us a first look at what areas Apple could improve its system for the iPhone.

It's always been a rule that the features highlighted in iOS concepts have always remained just the unfulfilled wish of fans. It wasn't until this year that Apple listened to its users and introduced Dark Mode as part of iOS 13. Although it later turned out that a dark environment significantly saves battery on iPhones with OLED displays, so Apple did not mention this preference in any way and simply offered Dark Mode as an alternative option for displaying the user interface.

It is therefore possible that Apple will behave similarly during the development of iOS 14 and add features to the system that users have been calling for for a long time. One of them is, for example, the always-on display, which, among other things, the Apple Watch Series 5 now has, and therefore the company could also add its equivalent to iPhones.

And just how always-on on apple phone displays could look is shown by the latest concept of iOS 14. Its author also proposed a new interface for incoming calls that would only be displayed at the top edge of the display, or how the function could work on iPhones Split-View (two applications on the display side by side). In addition, there is also a section for choosing default applications and a fully customizable desktop that would allow you to arrange the icons as you like.

It is questionable whether any of these features will actually make it to iOS 14. However, with the already mentioned always-on display, a certain probability really exists. Not only does Apple already offer this function in its smart watches, but the OLED displays in all the latest flagship models, starting with the iPhone X, are tailored to it with minimal impact on battery life.
