At the end of last week, we wrote about how the new iOS 11 is doing in terms of the number of installations in the first twenty-four hours after its release. The result was definitely not satisfactory, as it was nowhere near what iOS 10 achieved last year. You can read the whole article here. Last night, another very interesting statistic appeared on the web, which looks at the "adoption rate" on a weekly basis. Even now, a week after the release of iOS 11, the novelty is not doing as well as its predecessor. However, the difference is no longer so noticeable.
In the first week since its release, iOS 11 managed to reach almost 25% of all active iOS devices. Specifically, it is a value of 24,21%. During the same period last year, iOS 10 reached almost 30% of all active iOS devices. The eleven is still about 30% behind and there is no indication that it will beat its predecessor's record last year.
iOS 10 was a very successful operating system in this regard. It reached 15% in the first day, 30% in a week, and in less than four weeks it was already on two-thirds of all active devices. In January, it was at 76 percent and ended its life cycle at 89%.
The arrival of iOS 11 is steadily slightly worse, we will see how the values develop in the coming weeks when new devices start to reach more users. The fact that a large number of users are waiting for the iPhone X, which will arrive in a month and a half, is also probably contributing to the weak start. They are in no rush to update their older phones. Those who do not want to switch to iOS 11, for a reason, are also a significant group 32-bit application incompatibilities. How are you doing? Do you have iOS 11 on your device? And if so, are you happy with the new operating system?

I have iOS 11 on my 5S. It's not bad in terms of functionality or speed. I just have a big problem with stamina. I usually had around 30% battery at the end of the day before I went to sleep. Since iOS11 I have 7% battery at 5pm. So the consumption is terrible and I'm looking forward to the repair shop update.
My endurance is similarly bad. In addition, I don't really like the keyboard with the phone in landscape. I miss a lot of the buttons I used to use. Also turning off wifi and bluetooth in the control center is not a real turn off. Unfortunately I didn't make a backup or I would have gone back to iOS 10 where I was happy.
it can be reinstalled via computer and iTunes, I wrote above
I have iOS11 on iP7 and for me it is the worst update (I started with iOS4). Nothing shows a shift in the front. Things are about to get worse. Notifications are displayed even after several days, although they have already been deleted several times, sometimes they can be deleted via “x” sometimes only via “slide” to the left, Bluetooth connectivity with the car drops after two seconds, so no hands-free in the car is possible...
For me personally, this update was a step backwards. I want to believe that the next update will fix this.
I noticed the tech notification too.
The first day after the update, the alarm clock didn't wake me up for work, sometimes I get a notification that they are charged in the hour mark on the homescreen, spotify messes up the track progress indicator on the homescreen. Well, it's fresh from release, but still...
I downloaded iOS11 on my iPhone 6 and iPad Air and after 24 hours I went back to the previous version. I was bothered by the slowdown of both devices and the battery draining faster. After installing a clean 10.3.3, I was surprised how much faster it feels than 11. I will download iOS11 in time, but I will wait until the system is debugged and, above all, faster.
what are the betas for? who even tests (and reports back) except for those who have to have the latest everything just for the feeling that they have it .. and anyway, it should be tested by the manufacturer (Apple, Microsoft, etc.), test until they smoke, someone can to object that it is "free", it is and it is not .. where have we come :)
On my iPhone 6s with iOS11, my battery was draining very quickly and the system was generally very slow. After deletion and a clean installation, it's OK — the battery lasts as before and the system is smooth again.
On the iPad Pro 9.7″ without any problems.
I also downloaded 11 and I'm terribly unhappy… either the battery has gotten a little better or I'm just used to the fast draining… the phone hangs and ignores the notification feature on the lock screen… it freezes and becomes unusable several times a day. When writing a message, it often happens that the keyboard does not pop out and I have to reset the entire application. I would like to roll everything back to the update that was before this tragedy… ?? please advise me how to do it? I will be really grateful!! Thanks a lot

it must be done through a computer and the iTunes app. Download original ios 10.3 and restore/update by manually selecting the installer package. But you have to do it fairly quickly, Apple usually signs older versions of the system so I guess two weeks and then a bad luck.
Well, just like every year, this year the new iOS has ruined your old iPhones, so go ahead, buy the latest model :)
Friends, when I type the word po on the Czech keyboard, it changes to PO. It's incredibly rude. Does this happen to you too? I haven't tried the reset dictionary yet, but of course I've never written any POs. Laggy, writing outside of text boxes, freezing of the touchscreen, non-functional notifications, stupid H1 application titles, etc., etc.
I have a 6s and iOS has worked flawlessly since the beta. Try doing a clean install via iTunes. Sometimes when there is not enough space in the iPhone, the installation is not correct.
