Intel and Apple's paths have diverged slightly in the past year. The Cupertino company presented Apple silicon, i.e. custom chips for Apple computers to replace processors from Intel. If you are one of our regular readers, you surely did not miss the article from last month, when we reported on the current campaign of the world-famous processor manufacturer. He decided to compare classic PCs and Macs with the M1, where he points out the shortcomings of apple machines. What's even more strange is that the MacBook Pro is shown in its latest advertisement.

Intel-MBP-Is-Thin-and-Light

This ad, which promotes the 11th generation Intel Core model as the world's best processor, appeared on the social networking site Reddit and was subsequently re-shared on Twitter by @juneforceone. Specifically, it is an Intel Core i7-1185G7. The image in question shows a man working with a MacBook Pro, a Magic Mouse and Beats headphones, all products directly from Apple. It was subsequently discovered that the image used came from the Getty Images photo bank. Of course, the Cupertino company still sells Macs with Intel processors, so it's not surprising that the just-mentioned MacBook is shown in the ad. But the problem is somewhere else. The graduated 7th generation Core i11 processor has never appeared in any Apple computer and it can be expected that it will never appear.

In fact, this model was introduced to the world at about the same time as the Macy with the M1 chip, that is, at the end of last year. This misstep on Intel's part would normally have been overlooked and ignored by everyone. However, this should not be the case with a company that only less than a month ago shared a video in which it pointed out the shortcomings of the same model, but now only used it in its advertising.
