The photography social network Instagram updated its mobile app on Tuesday. iOS users can now additionally edit their posts and also better search for interesting users and photos.

The Explore page, which in previous versions consisted of an endless grid of popular photos, is now split into two parts. The first of them is similarly dedicated to individual images, the second to their creators. At the same time, it is not about photographers who are popular within the entire network, but about those who are relevant to the current user. (It works in a similar way to, say, offering new friends on the Facebook network.)

The second new feature is a feature that both iOS and Android users have been calling for for a long time. It is about the possibility to edit the details of posts after their publication. Instagram version 6.2 now allows you to edit the description, tags and location. We can find this option next to the options for sharing and deleting a post under the button marked with three dots.
